1. General Questions

Are all the calligraphy works in your online store orginal?

All the calligraphy works are handwritten by Imam Soleh Yu, ensuring the uniqueness and quality of each work.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your order on our website or on the carrier's website.

Do you provide International delivery?

Yes, although we are CN based, we provide delivery services to a number of regions. If your country is not included in the delivery options then please enquire for it to be added at info@solehyucalligraphy.com

Can I return a custom calligraphy?

Custom calligraphy cannot be returned as the wroks are personalised to you and cannot be resold.

What is your refund & return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your calligraphy purchase. If you're not, we accept returns of non-custom calligraphy works within 30 days of purchase. To start a return, please visit our returns page and follow the instructions.

2. Calligraphy Questions

What is mounted works?

'Mounted works' here refers to calligraphy paper that has been mounted with a silk border but still needs a frame to be considered a complete piece.

Why does the calligraphy scroll I received look uneven when hung on the wall?

As calligraphy works are rolled up during mailing, the Xuan paper that has been rolled up for a long time may become set in shape. However, there is no need to worry. As long as you open it and place it flat or hang it up, it will return to its original state within 3-5 days.

"How do I care for calligraphy scrolls?

To maintain calligraphy scrolls, place them in a dry and well-ventilated place without direct sunlight. When handling them, hold them gently with both hands to avoid touching the surface of the calligraphy rice paper and causing creases. Unroll and roll up the scrolls gently. If there is dust, use a duster or dry cloth to gently brush it off. Check regularly. If there is damage, repair it in time or consult us.

How long does it take from placing an order to shipping?

Please allow 3-7 business days for your order to be processed, including writing,mounting and shipping.

How much does shipping cost?

Due to the wide variety of custom calligraphy services and the varying weights of custom calligraphy works, it is difficult to determine a unified fixed shipping cost. After discussion, we have made the following decision: For calligraphy works with an order amount less than 100 US dollars, a shipping fee of 10 US dollars is uniformly charged. For orders with an amount exceeding 100 US dollars, we will provide free shipping to our customers.
